Green Lemon Company at NextStep!

On Monday, October 28th, our team of board members and senior developers woke up bright and early to catch a flight to Amsterdam in order to attend OutSystems NextStep. Everyone was excited for what we expected to be two days of low-code learning and socialising, but we couldn’t have predicted just what these two days would entail.

On the first day, we were presented with an OutSystemsPartner of the Year Award for Most Sales Opportunities Generated! Every day, we push ourselves to continue to produce stellar mobile and web applications for our clients; we do whatever we can to spread the word about low-code; we love what we do and we want to keep improving the quality of our services. We are still incredibly honoured and humbled by this award and we will work hard to surpass it next year.

The next day was, surprisingly, even more eventful. Our team met OutSystems CEO Paulo Rosado and collected some fantastic t-shirts from Product League featuring the OutSystems mascot, Neo.

Throughout the day, Green Lemon Company also cycled towards a better future. Our CEO Matt Thompsett and senior developers Evgeni Urumov, Luís Galaio, Mariano Picco and Sienna Davids took turns on the bicycle at the Noesis booth, where every kilometre pedalled equalled 1€ donated to a non-profit organisation to be picked later in the day. Together, their efforts alone matched half of the grand total pedalled the day before by all other attendees!

Overall, we had an amazing couple of days in Amsterdam with OutSystems and we accomplished everything we set out to do and more - we learned a lot, caught up with old friends and made new ones, contributed to great causes and got recognised for our hard work. The only thing left to do was to properly say goodbye - and what better way to do that than with a song?

Thank you for having us. We’ll see you again soon.
