Green Lemon Company is honoured to announce that we have joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative — a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

With this announcement, we are proud to join thousands of other companies globally committed to taking responsible business action to create the world we all want.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Green Lemon Company lives by its Green Leaf Values, which we try to respect and embed in everything we do.

We treat our colleagues like family, helping each other grow and thrive in our professional and personal environments; we are committed to our communities, both local and global, doing our best to contribute to events, charities, interest groups and CSR projects - such as our recent website for Peace One Day; we strongly believe in and promote diversity in our workforce through an open hiring process and zero discrimination policy; we are also committed to caring for our environment, enforcing strict workplace policies to reduce our carbon footprint and encouraging employees to make environmentally-conscious changes in their own lives, such as going plastic-free in their households and reducing meat consumption.

These are values and beliefs we have held and enforced since the start, both as a company and as a group of people devoted to making our world a better place, so our alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals is a seamless and natural process that merely solidifies our commitments to the cause.

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 9,500 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 70 Local Networks.

You can visit our company profile on the UN Global Compact website via the link below, which we will update with our ongoing work towards embracing and representing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
