Partnering with Softools
Green Lemon Company is proud to announce that we are now partnering with Softools!
As a future-forward, client-oriented company, we recognise that all clients are different and no solution is a one-size-fits-all. Because of this, we are always looking to add new and innovative technologies to our offering, so that we always have something under our belt that will suit a client’s particular needs.
We’ve been working on this partnership for a while, with some of our developers undergoing Softools training directly with the technology provider, and we are looking to adopt Softools applications internally as well.
Our CTO, Nick Hines, on his experience with Softools:
“We are delighted to add the Softools application development platform to the Green Lemon armory. This capability allows us to provide a cost-effective replacement for complex Excel spreadsheets with no coding required. The ability to capture and maintain critical business data and processes in the cloud is an essential step in any Intelligent Automation programme.”
One of our developers, Nuno Faria, who has been undergoing Softools training and discussing the potential of the platform directly with Softools, also pitched in:
“Softools is a very flexible platform that allows a user to create functional apps that work intrinsically, with a simple and clean UI structure. Components in AppStudio and Workspace are displayed in a way that makes it easy for people that are new to this software and/or to application development.
During the training, I learned how to create applications with statuses that would trigger actions when changed through expressions. It was really fun to better understand these expressions and use them on the variety of types of fields available. These can be put to a report and exported as a word or a PDF document in a very clean and easy way.”
We have also been in talks with Softools to leverage their technology in CSR and non-profit projects, as we are all very passionate about giving back to the community! This is a very exciting partnership for us and we’re looking forward to integrating Softools into both our client projects and internal processes.
